Cheese like in the olden days! The alpine cheese dairy is one of the few cheese dairies at an altitude of over 1900 metres that produces fresh products using traditional methods. In the summer, you can try out and purchase our specialties like mountain cheese, Sbrinz, butter and yoghurt on-site. From mid-July till late August, some 30 farmers summer with their herds on the Tannalp pasture on Melchsee-Frutt. The unfertilised, nourishing pastures of the alpine meadows guarantee particularly tasty products. Visit the alpine cheese dairy and see how fine cheese, yoghurt and tasty butter are made from local milk.
