The Trachsel cheese dairy is a medium-sized, innovative cheese dairy located in the St. Gallen villages of Walde and Gebertingen. In 1993, Samuel Trachsel took over the cheese dairy in Walde, then added the cheese dairy in neighbouring Gebertingen in 2007. Thanks to these two businesses, the Trachsel cheese dairy is in the singular position of producing several varieties of high-quality cheese in the unique mountain landscape of eastern Switzerland. Our daily goal is to make top-quality premium products out of milk that are a culinary treat for our customers.
